Michael J. Ehr

Michael J. Ehr died unexpectedly on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at the age of 69. Mike was born in Milwaukee on August 24, 1953 to Nic and Rhoda Ehr. He grew up in Fox Point, attended St. Eugene elementary school and graduated from Nicolet High School in 1971.

Mike started in the family landscape business at an early age working with his father, ultimately running the three generations company along with his brothers, Bill and Nic.

Mike met Katie Seydewitz, the love of his life at Maxwells tavern in Cedarburg after a softball game in 1989. They were married on September 6, 1991. Together they raised their two sons, Ben and Luke on their farm in Colgate, Wisconsin.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Nic and Rhoda Ehr. Mike is survived by his wife Katie; sons: Ben (Sara) Ehr and Luke (Karly) Ehr; brothers: Bill (Denise) Ehr and Nic (Holly) Ehr; granddaughter Hannah Ehr and his beloved dog Lucy.

Mike had many friends who he met pursuing his many interests. He had bowling friends, card playing friends, cocktail friends, softball friends, golfing friends, fishing friends and Packer friends. What was unique about our dear friend Mike, is that most of these friends considered Mike to be their own best friend. Mike was talented, loyal and generous. He will be missed by all of the people he touched during his lifetime.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory 979 N. Green Bay Rd. Grafton.
