Melvin J. Roeder

A Mass of Christian Burial for Melvin J. Roeder, 73 of Cedarburg, will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 6:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church 1375 Covered Bridge Rd. Cedarburg. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 3:00 PM until time of Mass. Interment will be at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Cemetery, Mequon. Memorials of your choice appreciated. Melvin was born in St. Anne, WI o July 25, 1937 the son of the late Walter and Alice (Nee Ausloos) Roeder. Melvin was united in marriage to Carolyn Carrie (Nee Miller) on June 18, 1960. Melvin served his country in the U.S. Navy from January 1957 January 1959. Melvin was a member of the Knights of Columbus; was a former Boy Scout Leader of Troup 836; and was a former Cedarburg Rec. League Basketball Coach for many years. Melvin enjoyed watching all sport, especially the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers. He also enjoyed camping, boating and fishing. Melvin is survived by his wife Carrie of Cedarburg; children: Debbie (Bob) Bonnett of West Bend, Randy (Mariellen) Roeder of Menomonee Falls, Rosey (Mark) Kintzele of Grafton and Ronald (Emily) Roeder of Chicago, IL. Grandchildren: Angie, Christie and Kyle Bonnette; Molly, Megan and Conner Roeder; Kayla and Cole Kintzele; and Logan and Tatum Roeder. Further survived by other relatives and friends.
