She attended St. Henry’s grade school and graduated from Senn High School. She pursued her interests in the medical field through further education at Sentry Medical Technician School. Afterwards, she worked at Little Company of Mary Hospital as a lab technician. Tee and Francis (Frank) Messa first met in Chicago and after a wonderful courtship, they married in 1951. Over 62 years of marriage, they were blessed with 13 children, 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Tee’s life was devoted to her family. As a wife and mother she was the silent strength of her family. She put love into all she did whether it was providing meals for her family, raising 2 vegetable gardens, her beloved flower gardens, baking bread or sewing clothes – the list goes on. She was a wonderful role model in reaching out to neighbors, helping at church with patience, kindness and humility. She enjoyed being part of the St Francis Borgia Mission Circle for many years. Tee enjoyed her family as it grew to include in-laws who were deeply loved and welcomed into the family by her. Grandbabies became a source of new joy for her as did sewing their baptismal gowns. Tee was known for her smile, warmth, patience, gentleness, joy and laughter. Tee is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank. She is the beloved mother of Miki (Mike) Stanton, Patti (Walt) Koss, Monica, Mark (Rose), Matt (Suzanne), Hilary (Julie), Andy (Denise), CeCe (Roy) Burns, Fran (John) Triebe, Kate (Dave) Jisa, Maggie (Rick) Pennings, Martin (Lisa) and Tim (Jeannie) Messa. She is the dear sister of Alfreda Woods. She is also survived by grand children, Matt, Brianna (Ted) Schmidt and Alex Stanton; Nick (Devon), Ben (Kelly), Zach (Liz) and MacKenzie Koss; Adam Messa; Gabriel and Ian Messa; Amber (Jose)Orozco, Colton, Katie, Taylor and Alyse Messa; Keely and Kara Burns; Erin, Colleen and Andy Triebe; Tess and Killian Jisa; Cassie Pennings; Ryan, Megan and Paige Messa; Enzo and Nina Messa and by great granddaughter Athea Koss. Tee was proceeded in death by her parents Peter and Katherine (nee Kriegler) Pazur, sisters Irene, Jeannette (Charlie) Bouda and Wanda (Charlie) Purvus, brothers John (Ethel), Leonard (Rose), Lonnie Pazur and her grandson Andrew Messa. Tee was a gentle soul who embodied the motto of Blessed mother Teresa, “ Do small things with great love”. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
