Maryann G. Birkholz

Maryann G. Birkholz of Cedarburg died Friday, June 22, 2018 at the age of 84 years from natural causes. Maryann’s request is there will be no services held. Memorials in her name can be directed to St. Jude Society or Horizon Hospice are appreciated. Maryann was born on July 9, 1933 in Nampa, Idaho, the daughter of the late Wessel and Selma (nee Splinter) Wessels. She was an artist, loved gardening and was the moral compass for the family. Maryann loved Cedarburg and the family log cabin in Minocqua, WI., where she spent a great amount of time. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, John, children; Barry (JoAnn) Birkholz, Peter (Soozee Park) Birkholz, Sue (Peter) Maniak and John (Jennifer Barr) Birkholz, grandchildren; Sarah, Eric, BJ Birkholz and Julie (Rad) Reijn, Emme and Lily Birkholz, Robert “Bob”and Anna Rose Maniak and Lucius Birkholz, great-grandchildren; Caius and Alba Reijn, brother; Wesley Wessels and sister; Carolyn Nyreen, other relatives and friends. Maryann is preceded in death by her brother John Wessels and sister, Anitia Crammer.
