Mary E. Roberts
Mary E. Roberts, of Grafton, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 71 years.
Mary was born on October 18, 1951, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Edward Strutz and the late Sebastiana (nee Piscitello) Strutz. She later graduated from Whitefish Bay High School and went on to work for Boston Store for over 22 years.
Mary was united in marriage to Floyd Roberts, on June 12, 1971, at Holy Family Catholic Parish, in Whitefish Bay. Together their marriage was blessed with two children, Brandon and Michelle. Family was the key to her happiness. She thoroughly enjoyed being wife, a mother, but most of all being a “Nanny” to her five grandchildren. Mary was in her glory when spending time with the grandchildren and learning about their most recent activities and adventures.
Mary was a longtime member at St. Joseph Catholic Parish, in Grafton. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, getting her beautiful nails done, and attending car shows with her loving husband, Floyd. In her downtime, Mary could be found looking out the window for her feathery friends who would visit her many bird feeders.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Floyd Roberts, children, Brandon (Jennifer) Roberts and Michelle (Christopher) Tsui, grandchildren: Austin Roberts, Kayla (fiancé Cole Felmer) Tsui, Tyler Tsui, Mackenzie Roberts, and Isabel Roberts; siblings, Connie Strutz and Terry (Ted) Hooten, sisters-in-law, Marie Pellerino, Debbie (Jerry) Borst, and Cindy Roberts, and brothers-in-law, Dennis (Terry) Roberts and Gene (Debbie) Roberts. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Edward Strutz, and brother-in-law, Richard Pellerino.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, July 14, 2023, 3:00 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Grafton. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, at the church, from 1:00 PM until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials of your choice are appreciated.
The family would especially like to thank Dr. Ranveer Nand as well as his caring staff, at the Van Dyke cancer Center in Ascension Hospital, Mequon. They would like to further thank the compassionate nurses at Horizon Home Care & Hospice for their wonderful care.
