Marven H. Seehusen

Marven H. Seehusen of Cedarburg, WI passed away November 23, 2015 at the age of 82. Marven is survived by his wife of 55 years Marcia and his children Martin Seehusen, Maren Stahle and Andrew (Patricia) Seehusen and grandchildren Erich and Gretchen. He is also survived by his siblings Dean (Norma) Seehusen, Marjorie (Don) Long and Martha (Claude) Phillips, and numerous nieces and nephews. Marven was born on a farm in northwest Iowa, and agriculture was an integral part of his life. After graduating from high school Marven served in the U.S. Army and then attended Iowa State University where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Education and Ohio State University at Columbus where he received a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics. He worked for several agricultural chemical companies before starting his own consulting firm of Seehusen and Associates. Marven enjoyed woodworking, gardening, tinkering with cars and spending time with his grandchildren. He was an active member of his church. Memorial service plans are pending. Family requests any memorials be given to Lutheran World Relief or Grace Lutheran Church, Thiensville, WI.
