Martin Hilgendorf

Martin Hilgendorf of Cedarburg passed away peacefully at Lasata Care Center on Monday June 18, 2007 at the age of 91 years. Martin was born in Fredonia, WI to the late Herman & Berth nee Parlow Hilgendorf and married the late Louise nee Grueneberg on June 15, 1940 at David’s Star Ev. Lutheran Church in Kirchhayn. Martin owned and operated State Farm Insurance Co. in Grafton for 32 years and was a long time active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Grafton. He is survived by his children; Doris Jim Brandenburg of Grafton, Dennis the late Karen of Cedarburg & Ralph Carol of Grafton, grandchildren; Scott Tamar, Shawn, & Jason Erin Brandenburg, Wendy Russ Ziegelbauer and Kimberly Hilgendorf, great grandchildren; Nicole, Kaitlyn, Drew, Zach, Tyler, Robin & Ava, 1 sister Esther Maechtle of Cedarburg and 1 brother Ray Heilgendorf of Red Granite. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 21, 6 PM at St. Paul Lutheran Church 701 Washington St. Grafton. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 3 PM until time of service. Interment church cemetery. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Organ Fund appreciated.
