Martha W. Hespe

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 9, 2005 – 7:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church Cedarburg, for Martha W. Hespe nee Steger, 88, who died on January 6, 2006 at Port Haven in Port Washington, WI. Interment was at Immanuel Cemetery. Visitation was at the church on Monday from 5 – 7 PM. Martha married the late Arnold Hespe on June 1, 1940 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Martha was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in many different groups within the church. Martha’s favorite hobbies were baking, cooking, gardening and working at her church. Martha is survived by a brother John Steger; a sister Frances Steger; Godchildren Sean Fuerstenberg and Carmen Paulus; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Martha was preceded in death by four brothers: Bill, Bob, Oscar and George; two sisters Anna and Louise.
