Martha Hicks

A funeral service will be held on Friday January 9, 2004 at Lasata Care Center Chapel for Martha Hicks nee Clemens, 100, of Grafton who died on January 6, 2004 at Lasata Care Center. Visitation will be from 10 AM until time of service at the chapel on Friday Jan. 9. Interment Valhalla Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kenton Wendorf officiating. Mueller Funeral Home of Grafton assisting the family. Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton appreciated. Martha was born in Plymouth, WI on May 5, 1903 the daughter of the late Charles E. and Alma nee Schaefer Clemens. She married the late Roy C. Hicks on July 1, 1924 in Plymouth, WI. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton where she helped with the missions society. Martha worked in the shoe repair department at Schuster/Gimbels for many years. She will be fondly remembered and missed by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
