Marjorie Ann DeFendi nee Tetzlaff found rest and eternal life on June 15, 2004 at the age of 53. Loving wife and 39 year companion of Michael. Born to George and Evelyn Tetzlaff of Grafton on May 24, 1951. Beloved mother to Michele DeFendi of Grafton and Matthew Heather DeFendi of Cedarburg. Cherished grandmother of Cody James and Kyla Rose. Sweet sister to Steven Dinah Tetzlaff, Randy Karen Tetzlaff, and Jayne Jim Wick, all of Grafton. Special granddaughter of Leona and the late Oscar Klemp and the late William & Anna Tetzlaff. Daughter in law of Frank and Beth DeFendi of Charlston, SC. Sister-in-law of Christine Jack Moore of San Antonio, Texas and Dennis Susie DeFendi of Charlston, SC, and the late Jeff DeFendi. Aunt to Effie, Lizzy, Jason, Liana, Angela, Sarah, Shane, Jeff, Ryan, Dan, Christopher, Jeremy. Marjie was surrounded by her family at her passing. She was a wonderful friend to her high school “Fab 50s”. A lifelong hairdresser, Marjie was also admired by her friends and associates of Park Avenue Beauty Salon, and her more recent friends and associates at KeyLink Solutions. She courageously fought ovarian cancer for nearly six years, much of which was under the care of the staff at the Cancer Treatment Center of America in Zion, Illinois. Marjie enjoyed fellowship and bible study with the women of St. John Lutheran Church in Lakefield. Marjie DeFendi was an inspiration to us all.
