Marguerite Elizabeth Zylka A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday July 16, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton, for Marguerite Elizabeth Zylka, who died on July 9, 2014 at the age of 98. Visitation Wednesday at church from noon until 1:45pm. Interment will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the wonderful care given by the staff on Floor 1 west wing at Lasata Care Center, “You guys rock.” Marguerite was born on January 1, 1916 in Milwaukee WI , the daughter of the late Clarence Hagedorn and Gertrude (nee Wolf) Hagedorn. Marguerite was married to Raymond R. Zylka for 54 years before he preceded her in death. They were blessed with four children. Marguerite was a devoted wife and exceptional mother who was committed to having a close knit family. The amount of pride she took in her family is only exceeded by the love still shared between them. Marguerite is survived by her children; Dennis (Lainee Grimes) Zylka, Raylene (the late George) Gurjanow and Elaine (Kenneth) Redlich, daughter-in-law; Rose Ann Zylka, grandchildren; Robin, Gayle, Todd, Keven, Vicki, Brian, Debra, Lisa, Scott, and Cindy, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Marguerite is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 54 years, Raymond, son Kenneth Zylka, daughter-in-law Patricia Zylka and grandchildren; Tanya and Mark.
