Margaret M. "Maggie" Sella

Margaret M. Sella Margaret was born into eternal life on March 29th, 2022, at the age 60 after a 16-month battle with cancer. A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cedarburg on Tuesday April 5th at 6pm. Visitation will take place prior to the service starting at 4pm. A private burial will take place at Immanuel Cemetery at a later date. For online condolences, please visit www.muellerfuneralhome.com. Margaret, more often referred to as Maggie, Molly, and Momma Sella, was born on May 22, 1961 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she grew up with her seven siblings. She met the love of her life in ‘88 and walked down the aisle to him on March 23, 1991. Their journey together began in Milwaukee where they were blessed with four children: Michelle, Joseph, Andrew, and Danielle. Shortly after Danielle was born, they pulled out of Milwaukee and moved to Cedarburg. After all four kids were enrolled in school, Margaret began taking up various positions with different employers but eventually found her way to Momberg & Associates CPA where she’d spent the last 18 years entering payroll and tax information for small businesses around Cedarburg. If you work around Cedarburg, there’s a pretty good chance Margaret was the one who got you paid. If you were to have walked into the Sella household outside of the workday, you likely would have found Margaret in her corner living room chair reading one of her romance novels. She was an avid reader of most anything of fiction and was always prepped to give a lecture on how the book is always better than the movie. Another place you may have found Margaret was at the kitchen table, likely reading the sequel to the previously mentioned novel, waiting for whatever was in the oven to finish baking. She took pride in her baking and was always looking for new recipes to try out on her unsuspecting family. The recipes were nearly always held in high regard although exceptions, like the “lemony chicken” incident, were not entirely unheard of. Her baking was widely sought after and she was always happy to bake for a good cause whether it was a bake sale, a cake-walk, or simply to hand out goodies to a group of her kids’ friends’. Above all, she was a loving mother and wife. Endlessly supportive, but quick to check your perspective with that of another’s. She provided guidance when the path ahead was hard to see, and she was quick to shed light on the difficulties you’ve overcome throughout the path behind you. Regardless of why you called her, you could always expect to hear a soothing and supportive voice speaking through the phone back at you. She will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and community. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Gregory Sella. And her children Michelle (Michael) Brost, Joseph Sella (Daphne Gavin), Andrew Sella (Nicole Jakubiak), and Danielle (Thomas) Neider.
