Marcella "Sally" S. Jones

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at 4:30pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington Street, Grafton, WI for Marcella S. “Sally” Jones, who was Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the age of 95. A Visitation will be held at church Tuesday from 3:00pm to 4:15pm. Interment will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church are appreciated. Sally was born on May 10, 1920, in Grafton, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late John and the late Adeline (nee Hoffmann) Roden. She later married Wilson H. Jones, on December 30, 1941, in Idaho. Their marriage was blessed with five children. Sally sang in the Sweet Adelines. Her favorite candy was M&M’s. Sally was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. She also enjoyed playing sheepshead for many years. Sally is survived by her children; Kurtis Jones, Keith (Karen) Jones, Kim (Denise) Jones, Kaye (Randy) Peterson and Kevin (Karen) Jones, grandchildren; Dezarae (Heath) Jones-Hartwig, Sarah (David) Peltonen, Deidre (Raul Bonde) Jones, Kory Jones, Kristopher Jones, Kyle (Hannah) Jones, Claire Jones, Wilson Jones, Stephanie (Donald) Radtke, Porscha (Donald) Muszynski, Paul (Emily) Sabel, Rachel (Shawn) Ede, Matthew (Emily) Sabel, Erin (Andy) Prombo, Emily Jones, Eli Jones and Jeremy Peterson, great-grandchildren; Beckett and Esme Jones-Hartwig, Odin and Elsie Peltonen, Cian and Iris Bonde, Abiah, Natalie, Bedalia, Charline, Ephraim and Othniel Radtke, Gideon Muszynski, Bonnie, Landen, Carter and Aubrey Sabel. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Sally was preceded in death by her husband: Wilson H. Jones (1973), sister: Marietta “Petie” Barth, brother-in-law: Ervin Barth, and great-grandson: Milo Peltonen.
