A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 5, 12NOON at St. Joseph Catholic Church (1619 Washington St.), Grafton for Marcella Pulvermacher (nee Gebhard), who passed away on August 31, 2008, age 89. Visitation will be held on Fri. at the church from 10:30AM until time of Mass. Fr. Mike Barrett will officiate the service. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials of your choice appreciated. Marcella was born on August 8, 1919, in Milwaukee, to the late George and Louisa (nee Merkel) Gebhard. Marcella resided at the Harbor Club Assisted Living Center in Port Washington for the past six years. Previously she was a resident of Grafton for 46 years. Marcella was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton for over 50 years. She enjoyed making rosaries for the Catholic missionaries, playing cards and doing crafts. Loving wife of the late Armin Pulvermacher. Beloved mother of James (Mary) Pulvermacher of Milwaukee, WI; Yvonne (John) Carini of Marietta, GA; and Carol (Mark) Gustavson of Atlanta, GA. Proud grandmother of Kimberly (Nate) Wright, Keith (Sarah) Pulvermacher, Cari Gustavson, Gail Gustavson; and great-grandmother of Lilly Pulvermacher.She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Marcella was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Earl. Special thanks to all the staff at the Harbor Club Assisted Living Center for all their loving care and compassion.
