Marcella M. Kohlwey

Marcella M. Kohlwey Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 9, 2010 at 2pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church (701 Washington St., Grafton) for Marcella M. Kohlwey who passed away on Monday January 4, 2010 at the age of 93 years at Cedar Springs Health and Rehab Center. Visitation will be at church on Saturday from 12 (Noon) until the time of Service. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Marcella was born in the Town of Ashford, WI on April 18, 1916, the daughter of the late Oscar and Minnie Geidel. She was united in marriage on October 21, 1944 to Fred O. Kohlwey in Campbellsport, WI. They were blessed with 2 sons, Karl and Allen. Marcella was heavily involved in her church St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was in the LWML and was a past member of St. Paul Womens Guild. Marcella enjoyed crocheting very much, she even won 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize for her crocheting skills at the County Fair. The light of her eye was her granddaughter, Robyn. She loved Robyn very much and felt blessed to have her in her life. Marcella is survived by her 2 sons; Karl and Allen, granddaughter; Robyn, sister Laura Thelen, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred and brother Byron Geidel. Memorials: Memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church appreciated.
