Luba Mangelsdorf

Luba Manglesdorf, 87 years young, of Cedarburg WI and Sun City, AZ, passed away, Friday, July 22, 2022, 4:00 AM. She was born in Neschkow White Russia on July 12, 1935, the daughter of Jakob and Lina. Survived by her sister Maria and brother Adolph. Nieces and Nephews; Mary, Sandy, Andre (Diane), Ivan, Adam (Christine), Dawn, Lisa (Bronco), Randy (Dawnell), Jana (Scott), Amy (Steve), Jenny (Dan), Betsy. Many other Great Nieces, Nephews and friends. Luba was preceded in death by her Husband Horst, brothers, Ivan, Gottfried, Heinrich, Jakob Jr, her sister Eugenia (Stephan) and Nephew Paul Klein. Luba was very proud to tell the story of when she and her brother Heinrich came to America and she only had $1.00 then got a job in a factory where she learned to read blueprints and how she could save enough to go to a movie show. Luba’s family extends a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff for loving her while under their care.at Hartford Estates Hospice. Luba and her husband loved traveling the world and cherished the times when their Terrier Dogs (Max and Prince) would win championships at dog shows. Luba was good of heart; and a great artist. Loved flowers and also did needlepoint. When she entertained her friends and family, things were always precise, tasteful and in order. Luba took good care of her mom Lina and Oma. Although our family were many miles apart a lot of the time, we enjoyed phone conversations, reminiscing about growing up and how our lives have changed over the years. Changes from day to day after her best friend/husband left this world became extremely challenging, though she stayed strong minded. Luba liked shopping at local thrift stores, eating at restaurants and just being with good people. Lots of coffee with lots of cream and sugar. Family and friends are invited to share a small committal service at the Zur Ruhe Cemetery (N69W60001 Bridge Rd), Cedarburg, WI where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, on Tuesday August 2, 2022, at 2:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hartford Estates Nursing Home are appreciated.
