Lorraine A. Bublitz

Lorraine A. Bublitz (nee Hillmann) Passed away on January 26, 2020 at the age of 103 years. A memorial service will be held at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg, on Friday, January 31, 2020, at 6:30 PM. A visitation will take place prior to the memorial service at the church from 5:00 PM until the time of service. Pastor Randy Raasch will be officiating. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Guardian Angel Fund through First Immanuel Lutheran Church are appreciated. Lorraine was born on December 4, 1916 in Jackson, WI, the daughter of the late Frederick and the late Selma (nee Liesener) Hillmann. She graduated from Cedarburg High School. She married Edgar Bublitz on August 22, 1936. Their marriage was blessed with three children. In 1954 they left the farming life, and moved to Cedarburg. For twenty years Lorraine was a School Bus Driver for Marquardt Bus Company. Lorraine was an avid bowler. She bowled 4 times a week in 3 different leagues until the age of 99 years. She also loved to polka dance with her husband, Edgar, and enjoyed traveling around the world with her son. Lorraine is survived by her children: Diane (Ronald) Butt, Doris (Glenn) Wiechman and Rick; grandchildren: Michelle (Jim) Garbe, Nathan (Nina) Butt, Jodi Flores, Julia (Tim) Mentzel, Jessica (Ed) Eisenhauer; She is further survived by 16 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar and grandson, Andrew Butt.
