Lois A. Diener

Lois A. Diener, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2025, at the Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 21, 1943, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to her late parents, Virgil Howell and Martha (nee Nogosek). Lois was united in marriage to her late husband, John Diener on August 22, 1964, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together, their marriage was blessed with two children, Ann and Sandra.

Lois was a proud graduate of Nicolet High School, and her lifelong dedication to her community was exemplified through her active volunteer work at St. Joseph Church, where she was not only a member but a familiar face with a warm smile. Friends and family remember her as a woman who radiated joy and positivity, characterized by her fun laughter and welcoming demeanor. Her personality was marked by a contagious spirit, always putting others first; she never complained and faced life’s challenges with grace.

Her passions included spending quality time with family, who were the cornerstone of her life. Lois was a dedicated fan of the Brewers, enjoyed playing cards, and had a deep love for dogs, which further demonstrated her kind-hearted nature. She enriched the lives of those around her, creating a legacy of love and warmth that will long be remembered.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Ann (Michael) Bohachek and Sandra (Steve) Pacl. She found immense joy in her grandchildren—Tiffany (Brett) Pekera, Joshua (Alexandra) Beaudry, Devin Pacl, Brennan Pacl, Emilie (Dylan Baccam) Beaudry, Morgan (Joshua) Anderson, Kyle Bohachek, and Madison Bohachek—and took pride in her great-grandchildren, William, Mason, Logan, Elijah, Brinley, Noah, and Theodore. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit and will continue to honor her memory in their lives.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, John Diener; her brother, James Howell; and her son-in-law, Christopher Beaudry. While their absence is deeply felt, the love of Lois will remain etched in the hearts and lives of her family and friends.

A visitation will be held on April 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton, Wisconsin, followed by a Mass at 1:00 PM and a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery at 2:00 PM. As family and friends gather to celebrate Lois A. Diener’s remarkable life, they will undoubtedly reflect on the joy, laughter, and love she brought into the world.
