Lisa M. Kison (Nee VandeBoom) of Cedarburg, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at the age of 52. Lisa was born in Port Washington on June 17, 1961 the daughter of Ralph VandeBoom and the late Carol (Nee Burton). Lisa was united in marriage to the late Terry “Turd” Kison on October 9, 1999. Lisa worked for the Grafton School District as a teachers aid, helping with Special Needs Education. Lisa enjoyed traveling to Door County, visiting Holy Hill, going to craft fairs, shopping, cutting the grass and was known to many as the Hallmark Queen. Lisa is survived by her father Ralph VandeBoom of Saukville; Siblings: Mark VandeBoom of Saukville, Gary (Betty) VandeBoom of Port Washington, Lori (Mike) Paulus of Fredonia and Roger (Sharon) VandeBoom of Saukville; Mother-in-law Larain Kison; brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Rod (The Late Char)Kison of Jackson, Chuck (Donna) Kison of Cedarburg, Dennis (Kathy) Kison of Jackson, Randy (Patty) Kison of Jackson, Jim (Lisa Marie) Kison of Cedarburg and Keith (Cathy) Kison of Grafton. Lisa is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 – 7:00 PM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Saukville. Interment will be at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 3:00 PM – 6:45PM. With her many years of devoted service in education, memorials will be directed to a Special Education Fund.
