Linna L. Petersen

Linna L. Petersen (Nee Otto) of Grafton, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the age of 97. Linna was born in Amherst, WI on November 27, 1918 the daughter of the late Reihnoldt and Minnie (Ristow) Otto. Linna was united in marriage to the late Edward Petersen on September 28, 1940. Linna was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton and longtime volunteer at Lasata Care Center in Cedarburg. Linna enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting, knitting, playing the piano and watching the Milwaukee Brewers. Most importantly, Linna enjoyed spending time with her loving family. Linna is survived by her children: Fred (Pat) Petersen, Thomas (Carol) Petersen, Karl (Laura) Petersen and Ellen (Randy) Liska; Grandchildren: Kevin (Sue), Tom (Rebecca), Michelle (Brahm), Jennifer (Rich), Anne and Christopher (Korinne). Further survived by 8 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linna was preceded in death by her son Larry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 – 12 Noon at Grace Lutheran Church (715 6th Ave. Grafton). Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 11:00 AM – 11:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church appreciated.
