Lester W. Pipkorn of Grafton found peace on Tuesday April 22, 2008 at the age of 90 years, at Columiba St. Marys Ozaukee Campus. Lester was born in Freistadt, WI on June 29, 1917 to the late Fred & Ella (nee Friede) Pipkorn and married the late Mary Lou Dalton on April 19, 1947 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. After retirement Lester and Mary Lou traveled to Florida and Arizona but declining health brought them back to Grafton in 2002. Lester enjoyed his daily walks and loved to play bingo. He resided at Washington Heights for 2 ½ years. He is survived by his cherished children; Linda (Brian) Marbach of East Quogue, NY, Carol (Colin) Van Sluys of Grafton & Jean (Robert) Rieck of Grafton. He is the proud grandfather of Brian Jr. Marbach of East Quogue, NY, Chandra (Kenny) Tassin of New Orleans, Cary (Jean) Van Sluys of Grafton, Kyle (Jessica) Van Sluys of Grafton, Kraig Van Sluys of Port Washington, Kristin (Shaun) Voigt of Oostburg & Ryan Rieck of Grafton. Loving great-poppa of Gavin & Tyler Van Sluys. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Melvin & Arnold. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 24, 7 PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd. Cedarburg. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery. Instate at the church on Thursday from 5 PM until time of service. Memorials to the church appreciated.
