Leona Gierach

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 13, 2007 – 7:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Cedarburg for Leona A. Gierach nee Mueller, 88, of Grafton who passed away peacefully on November 10, 2007 at Lasata Care Center. Visitation was held at the church on Tuesday from 4 – 7 PM. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church Cedarburg or St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton appreciated. Leona worked at St. Alphonsous Hospital in Port Washington as a LPN for many years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and a member of the Ladies Aid for many years. She enjoyed embroidery, playing cards, family vacations up north and every Sunday preparing a chicken dinner for the family. Leona is survived by her children Ruth Terry McCutcheon of Grafton and Karen Tom Anderson of Cedarburg; proud grandmother of Brian Kymber, Scott Sara, Kevin Sheri, Craig Stacy, Tanja Anne Thi Cao, Erik and Ross; sister-in-law Selma Tews, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, other relatives and friends.
