Leon David Milbeck Sr.

Leon D. Milbeck Sr., of Cedarburg, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on August 9, 2024, at the age of 83 years. Leon was born in Milwaukee on July 10, 1941, to the late David and the late Dorothy (nee Thomas) Milbeck.

Leon served honorably in the Navy for 6 years and carried that pride with him throughout his life. After leaving the service he received a bachelor’s degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering in Industrial Engineering.

Leon had many hobbies, he loved to walk & read. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family. He loved to bike with his granddaughters and take them to the park.

Leon is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Maria (nee DiPronio), children, Leon Jr. (Yuliya) and Felicia (Mark) Robinson, grandchildren: Sasha, Bella, Liliana and Maia; sister, Judi (Steve) Copp. Further survived by nieces, nephews, in laws, other relatives and friends, in Milwaukee, Canada and Italy.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and son, Mark.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 16, 2024, at 12 Noon at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St., Grafton. Burial immediately following Mass at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM. Memorial donations to the MDS Foundation are appreciated.
