Leo V. Kolar of Grafton passed away peacefully on Sunday February 23, 2014 at Gables on the Pond in Random Lake at the age of 87 years. Leo was born in Sheboygan, WI on July 17, 1926 to the late Anton & Mary (nee Kalan) Kolar and married the late Dorothy (nee Clark) on July 16, 1960 in Sheboygan. Leo was a Merchant Marine during WWII, and a radio operator in the US Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated his business Balancing Services Inc. in Milwaukee from 1962 through 1995. He also was a long time member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grafton. Leo is survived by his children; Michael of Germantown, Steven of Greenville, WI and Susan (Paul) Caputa of Grafton, grandchildren; Mitchell & Abigail Caputa of Grafton. He was preceded in death by two brothers Anthony & Frank Kolar. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 27, 12:30 PM at St. Joseph Catholic Church 1619 Washington Ave Grafton. Interment church cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 11:30 – 12:15 PM. Memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
