Lenore A. Rieter

Lenore A. Rieter (nee Marron) of Cedarburg, went to her heavenly home, on Monday, September 12, 2016, at the age of 95 years. She was preceded in death by Frederick, her husband for 64 years. Lenore was a lifelong active member in her church participating in various activities including choir, playing piano, and quilt making. In later years she often served as a greeter on Sundays at Calvary Lutheran Church, and attended bible classes regularly. She was a living example of her strong faith, and her main joy was sharing that faith with her family. Lenore is survived by her children, Robert (Kathleen) Rieter and Marilyn Tomlin; grandchildren: Jeffrey Rieter, Barbara (Brent) Johnston, William (Bethel) Tomlin, Jennifer (Ann Rakowiecki) Tomlin, and Marcia (Nathan) Gurgel; great-grandchildren: Camden, Hollyn, Sutton and Boden Johnston, Caleb, Joshua, Gabrielle and Samuel Tomlin, and Natalie, Gwyneth, Claudia, Evangeline and Gabriel Gurgel; Sisters, Lillian Pergande and Loraine Kohlwey. She was further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 11:00AM at Calvary Lutheran Church (110 Division St.), Thiensville. Interment will be held on Saturday, at 2:00PM at Immanuel Cemetery. A visitation will be held Saturday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials to Calvary Lutheran Church are appreciated.
