Lauren Olivia Dahl

Lauren Olivia Dahl (Payleitner) Was adorned her angel wings on Friday, January 18, 2019 at the age of 36, surrounded by her family. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 12:30 PM at St. Mary’s Visitation Parish, 1260 Church St., Elm Grove. A visitation will take place on Friday at the church from 11:00 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Marianne for a Legacy Bench in Lauren's honor at the Cedarburg All Children's Playground are appreciated. Without speaking a word, Lauren spoke volumes. She inspired many to understand and value the beauty of people with disabilities, and enriched all those she encountered. Lauren loved being around her friends with and without disabilities, parties, swimming, fireworks, lights, sunshine, shopping and travel. Though her disabilities were many, her ability to love was far greater. Special thanks to Laurens supportive caregivers, nurses, therapists, teachers, Alpha Homes and Zilber Family Hospice. Lauren is survived by her loving mother, Marianne Payleitner. Newly found sister Renee (Dejan) Ristic, grandmother, Patricia Payleitner, godmother and aunt, Kathleen Fleming, uncle, Michael (Toni) Payleitner and Aunt, Patti (Tim) Panfil; cousins: Melissa and A.J. Fleming, Crista (Ryan) Slade. nieces and nephew: Stella, Marijka, Mirenza and Marko; special longtime friends: Lynn Drumm, Melissa Fry, Darlayne Coughlin and Falon Pape. Further survived by other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her father James Dahl, grandfather, Norman Payleitner, grandmother, Marion Dahl, uncle and godfather, Bill Fleming, and aunt, Janet Ruddy.
