Larry T. Walters

Larry T. Walters, of Belgium, passed away on April 8, 2016, at Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital, in Mequon, at the age of 62 years. Larry was born on July 26, 1953, in Minnesota, the son of the late Stanley and the late Luella (nee Bay) Walters. Larry was united in marriage to Debbie Jessen in June of 1983, at Grace Lutheran Church, in Grafton. Together they were blessed with two children, Heather and Kyle. Larry was a hard-working and selfless man who dedicated his life to others. He enjoyed the simple things in life, whether it was a cold beer, spending time outdoors, or getting together with family and friends. Larry’s true love however, was spending time with his grandchildren, who he referred to as his “little sweeties”. Larry is survived by his loving and dedicated soulmate, Debbie Walters; children, Heather (Tony) Schwengel and Kyle Walters; grandchildren, Lexi, Lizzi, and Brooklyn; step-grandson, Braden; and siblings, Steve, Rocky, Rusty, Theodora, Kristine, and Jackie. He is further survived by special friend Troy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Per Larry’s request, a private service was held and a private burial took place at Woodlawn Cemetery, in Grafton. Memorials in Larry’s name can be made out to the Ozaukee County Humane Society or to Grace Lutheran Church, in Grafton.
