Kenneth W. Lucht

A funeral service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2008 2:00 pm at St. John Lutheran Church, Lakefield for Kenneth W. Lucht of Grafton, who died peacefully at the age of 83 years, on November 4, 2008 at home surrounded by his family after a long courageous battle with cancer. Family will receive friends at the church on Sat. from 12:30 PM until time of service at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Lakefield Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Lutheran Church appreciated. Kenneth was born on September 5, 1925, the son of the late George and Edna (nee Mueller) Lucht. He was united in marriage on August 14, 1948 at St. John Lutheran Church, Lakefield to Anita (nee Sievers). Kenneth was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church since 1948. He worked in the family business George Lucht & Sons Masonry as a mason. He enjoyed Packer games, The Brewers and baseball, traveling up north to the family cottage where he enjoyed fishing. Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife and best friend for over 60 years, Anita (nee Sievers). Further survived by his dear brother Gordon (Dorothy) Lucht of Grafton, WI; brother-in-law Erwin (Ethel) Sievers of Grafton, WI; Loving Uncle of Joyce (Dale) Peters of Grafton, WI, Bonnie (Mark) Lecher of Grafton, WI and Glenn Sievers of Grafton, WI. Cherished Great Uncle of Stacey Peters of Thiensville, WI, Michelle (Andy) Christophersen of West Bend, WI, Katie Peters of Grafton, WI, Nathan Peters of Grafton, WI, Jennifer (Josh) Kurtz of Plymouth, WI, and Megan Lecher of Milwaukee, WI. Great Great Uncle of Ethan and Paige Kurtz and Olive Christophersen; other relatives and friends. Sepcial thanks to Linda Werner for her compassionate and loving care.
