Kenneth "Ken" J. Piel

Kenneth “Ken” J. Piel of Cedarburg, peacefully passed away on March 4,2025, at the age of 68 with Pam holding his hand. He was born December 1, 1956, to his late parents, Jerome and Lillian (nee Pronko) Piel. He was united in marriage to his wife of 35 years, Pamela “Pam” (nee Brown). Together their marriage was blessed with two children, Jordan and Taylor.

He enjoyed going away on golf outings, playing softball and basketball but his love was golf. He was diagnosed with Scleroderma in 1992 and had to give up golf for 13 years. After his Scleroderma went into remission, he was back on the course with his boys enjoying every minute. He got the most joy out of playing golf and being on a golf course. He taught both of his boys how to golf and play baseball even though he could not play himself. Collecting hot wheels was an avid hobby, however, distributing them to his Grandchildren as well as his great Nieces and Nephews brought a particular smile to his face. Especially when they got to open them.

Ken is survived by his loving wife, Pam (nee Brown), children Jordan (Julie) and Taylor. Grandchildren Sawyer, Levi and Wesley. Siblings Al (Ann), Aaron (Stacy) and Lori Piel. Brother-in-law to Marydee (Frank) Robinson, Leigh (Heidi) Brown, Shellee (Dann) Haendel, Lynnette (Dan) Macejkovic and Stacey Brown DeLeo. Also survived by many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.

There will be a memorial service held for Ken on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 1:00m pm at Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton with Pastor Don Scheuerlein officiating. A visitation will be from 10:00 am till 12:45 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials to Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warriors or a charity of your choice are appreciated.
