Kenneth A. Vorpagel Ken Funeral Services will be held Tuesday March 16th at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church Freistadt (10729 W. Freistadt Road, Mequon) at 6:30pm for Kenneth A. Vorpagel Ken who peacefully entered heaven March 12, 2010 at the age of 71 years. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at church from 3:00pm until the time of service. Interment will be at the church cemetery. Memorials appreciated to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Trinity Historical Society or Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Ken was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 6, 1938, the son of the late Albert and Elfrieda (nee Luepke) Vorpagel. Ken was united in marriage to Marian (nee Schmeling) and they were blessed with a son, Brian. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #457 Mequon. Ken was an active member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church-Freistadt, Trinity Historical Society, Ozaukee County Farm Bureau and Wisconsin Antique Power Reunion-WAPR. Ken retired from Milwaukee Electric Tool. Kenneth is survived by his wife and best friend Marian, son, Brian and sister-in-law Elaine Vorpagel. Also he is survived by nieces, nephews, godchild Marissa Szymala and many friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Gerald and sister Audrey Mayer.
