Keith M. Baehler, a long time resident of Cedarburg, passed away unexpectedly on December 29, 2019, at the age of 87 years. Keith was born in Hartford, WI on August 12, 1932. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn (nee Hughes) Baehler and his parents, Oscar and Selma (nee Becker) Baehler. He served his country for 4 years in the United States Air Force and upon his honorable discharge, returned to Wisconsin. He began his career with Curtis Industries, in Milwaukee, where he met his future wife, Marilyn. Together they raised their four children, who blessed them with six wonderful grandchildren. Keith’s family was always the center of his life. He made a point of attending all of his children’s various activities, including coaching in multiple sports. He also enjoyed golf, reading and playing cards. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Keith is survived by his wife, Margaret (Swan) Baehler, of Cedarburg; his children, Mary (Thomas) Burazin, of Cottage Grove MN, Kevin (Kelly) Baehler of Appleton, Karen Baehler of Cedarburg, and Nancy (Robert) Wallace of Cedarburg; grandchildren Alison (Thomas) Porter, Emily Burazin, Daniel Baehler, Scott Burazin, Morgan Wallace and Lindsey Baehler. He is further survived by his stepchildren, Mary (Michael) Mansueto, Connie (Gary) Trepanier, Patrick (Terry) Swan and Maureen (Matthew) Groholski, and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 - 6:00 PM at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass from 4:00 PM until 5:45 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cedarburg Community Scholarship Fund would be appreciated.
