Our beloved sister and aunt, Kathleen Worgull (nee Spillman) was called to her heavenly home on May 2, 2024.

Kathleen was born on November 20, 1942, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Martin and Kathryn (Vlcansky) Spillman. Her life was spent caring for others as a salesclerk at The Grand, a nursing assistant at St. Anne’s Nursing Home, her parents in their later years, as well as her niece and nephews in their early years, and as the morning Extended Care provider at St. Joseph Parish School in Grafton until her retirement in 2013. She was a gentle person whose smile and laugh were only outdone by her extraordinary luck at the game of Yahtzee.

Kathleen will be missed by her sisters Joan Brown and Mary Bennett, her brother-in-law David Bennett, her nephews Peter Bennett (Michelle Kamke) and Mark Bennett (Maddie Kilgannon), and her niece Eileen Bennett (Erin Newsom). She is also survived by other family, and friends made throughout the years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1619 Washington Street in Grafton, WI. Deacon Scott Wiese will preside. Family and friends will be received with a warm embrace from 10:00am to 10:45am, as well as during hospitality after the Service. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to causes near and dear to Kathleen’s heart — Riveredge Nature Center in Saukville and St. Joseph Parish School in Grafton.
