Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 11:00am at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church, 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg for longtime resident of Cedarburg Kathleen A. Jacoby who was Born to Eternal Life on October 24, 2019 at the age of 87 years from natural causes. Father Patrick Burns will officiate the Mass. Kathleen was born in Fredonia, Wisconsin on February 7, 1932, the daughter of the late Arthur and Josephine (nee Feider) Ternes. She was united in marriage to James J. Jacoby and they were blessed with 5 children. James preceded Kathleen in death in 1996. When Kathleen was 13 years old she began to play the accordion with passion and had been playing ever since. She would play in the Senior Choir at the Ozaukee County Senior Center and also played with the “Kalian Trio” with 2 other ladies and they would play gigs all over in Ozaukee County. Kathleen loved quilting and has made many quilts for her family and friends. She was also a talented seamstress. Kathleen is survived by her children; Paula (the late David L.) Sizemore, Ken (Sandi) Jacoby, Bill (the late Laura) Jacoby and Marilyn (Don Nachman) Jacoby, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers, Arthur (Patricia) Ternes and Jerome (Lynn) Ternes, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, James, her son, James A. Jacoby and sister, Madeline Gray.
