Karen J. Repinski

Karen J. Repinski, 60, passed away on February 17, 2020, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. Karen was born on May 9, 1959, at St. Luke’s to Donald and Jean (Ryan) Rosenbauer. Karen grew up in the city of Brown Deer and graduated from Brown Deer High School in 1977. Karen married the love of her life, Gary Repinski on June 2, 1984, at Holy Hill Basilica. Their marriage was blessed with a son and daughter, both of whom were very close with Karen. While raising their children, Karen and Gary started their own craft business, selling their homemade arts and crafts. For the majority of Karen’s career, she was employed at Johnson Controls. Karen’s work ethic brought her from the mailroom to being a Financial Associate, eventually working alongside her son. Karen loved spending time with friends and family laughing and sharing stories around a campfire. Karen also enjoyed family vacations, shopping, and cooking holiday dinners. Despite Karen’s heart complications, she fought courageously to witness her children’s marriages and to see the birth of her grandson. Karen is survived by her husband, Gary; son Nicholas (Jaclyn) Repinski; daughter Emily (Alex) Leitheiser; mother Jean Rosenbauer; siblings Jeff Rosenbauer and Julie (Marty) Fahler; and grandson Finn Repinski. Karen is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Karen was proceeded in death by her father Donald Rosenbauer. Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at Mueller Funeral Home, 979 N. Green Bay Rd. in Grafton followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Karen will be laid to rest at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, in Cedarburg. Karen’s family has requested donations to be made to the St. Luke’s Heart Failure Center and to the Grafton Lions Club.
