June Rose Hadler Taylor (nee Conway) of Cedarburg died on Monday, November 4, 2013 at Lasata Care Center at the age of 94 years, and 6 months. June was born May 12, 1919 to Michael and Mathilda Conway in Milwaukee. She was the youngest of 3 sisters and 2 brothers. At the age of 8, she moved to Albion, MI where she graduated from High School. She then attended Business School in Milwaukee for two years. She married Lester E. Hadler on September 3, 1938. They had four children together. Besides being a homemaker, she did all of the accounting and billing for Hadler Paint and Contracting, and also waited on customers at their paint store in Cedarburg. After her husband’s sudden death in 1969, she moved to Milwaukee. She married Everette Taylor on December 18, 1971. They lived in Milwaukee, Fond du Lac, and Grafton throughout their 30 years of marriage. After his death in 2001, she moved back to Cedarburg. June was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Grafton, since 1989, where she was involved in WELCA. She was a volunteer braillist for 15 years with the Lutheran Library for the Blind. She loved playing the piano, singing, knitting, crocheting, sewing, golfing, bowling, and fishing. She also enjoyed sharing many stories with her family and friends. June leaves the following family members: Sharon (Rev. Donald) Lehmann of Sioux Falls, SD. John (Cherie) Hadler of Grafton, and Mary Hadler of Milwaukee; 5 grandchildren: David (Sue) Lehmann, Heidi (Kyle) DeBoer, John Lehmann, Michael Hadler and Carrie (Jeff) Engebose; and 9 great grandchildren: Dane and Brendan Lehmann, Nathan DeBoer, Sarah, Zachary and Aubrie Lehmann, Kelsey, Madison, and Brady Engebose; all honorary pallbearers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, a son, Stephen Hadler, 3 sisters, Anna Hornburg, Nora Garlic, Esther Schaber, and her two brothers, James and David Conway. Visitation will be at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Grafton, from 1PM to 3PM with the service at 3PM on Sunday, November 10, 2013. Committal will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Lutheran Church or to the charity of your choice are appreciated.
