With sadness, the family of Judith (Judy) Harrison, of Cedarburg transitioned peacefully on January 4, 2020. Born in Minnesota, on November 29, 1933. She married Gene Harrison (deceased) July 9, 1955. Her beloved daughter Kathryn Harrison (Ray Hoefert) survives her, as well as other relatives and many friends. A generous, community volunteer, Judy gave unlimited volunteer hours to various causes. Judy served her church, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the GFWC (Wisconsin Federated of Women’s Clubs), the United Performing Arts Fund, the Woman’s Club of Wisconsin and many other organizations. She was a Life Member of the UW Alumni Association; the UW Memorial Union; Kappa Kappa Gamma and Phi Beta; and an Honorary Member of Delta Kappa Gamma. The family wishes to thank Dr. Kevin Goniu for his many years of care, Pastor Don Greer for his comfort, and the caring staff at Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at Community United Methodist Church (CUMC), W68 N563 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg, WI, 53012 on January 11, 2020, from 2:00-4:00 PM. Graveside service at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Ashland, WI, at a later date per Judy’s wishes.
