Bunk, Judith R. Born to Eternal Life January 14, 2011, age 69 years. Judy was born July 17, 1941 to Kurt A. and Dorothy M. Bunk (nee Bub), who preceded her in death. Dear sister of Kurt (Andrea) Bunk, Jean (Gerald) Lang, and Susan Reith. Beloved aunt of Karen Siegel, Heidi Bunk, Julie (Brian) Mensching, Eric (Judy) Lang Phillip Reith, Matthew (Hope) Reith and Erik Bunk. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial service at 7 PM Tuesday January 18, 2011, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd, Cedarburg. The Rev. Randolph Raasch will be officiating. Visitation at 5 PM until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to First Immanuel, Cedarburg or to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Judy was a technician for 43 years at AT&T. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America, and served as union steward and a member on various union boards. She did volunteer work with the Cedarburg Cultural Center and was a deliverer for Meals on Wheels in Ozaukee County. At First Immanuel, She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the altar guild, the bulletin assembly teams and the newsletter assembly team. Judy was an active member of the Red Hat Society, and attended the international conventions in Paris and in London. She also went to the national conventions in Orlando, Nashville and Dallas. Judy loved to garden, with the growing of roses as her specialty. Judy was very pleased when she was able to bring a bouquet of roses to her family or friends. Judys family is very grateful to Dr. Burfeind and the oncology staff at St. Marys Ozaukee for the extra mile they all cheerfully went while she had treatments there. Their professionalism and concern for her gave a great comfort level to Judy. Special thanks to the staff at St. Marys Ozaukee-Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care this past week.
