Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 6:00pm at the Cedarburg Mueller Funeral Home & Crematory, W63 N527 Hanover Avenue for longtime Cedarburg resident Joyce M. Godfrey who died on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the age of 87 years from natural causes at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home from 4:00pm to 5:45pm In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to ALS of Wisconsin, American Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice. Joyce was born in Muskegon, MI on Saturday, May 2, 1931, the daughter of the late Leonard and Grace (nee Lieffers) Reed. She was united in marriage to Donald Godfrey and they were blessed with 3 children. Joyce enjoyed many activities; reading, golf, tennis and gardening just to name a few. Joyce loved entertaining family and friends but her biggest passion was spending time with her whole family. Joyce was the beloved wife of the late Colonel Donald J. Loving mom of DJ (Debbie) Godfrey, Karen (Jim Slagle) Godfrey and Kim (Paul) Stover. Proud grandma of Rebecca Uihlein and Philip Uihlein. Survived by great-grandchildren; Ella, Keegan and Kellan Scott, brother, Terrance (Casandra) Reed, sister, Cheryll Reed , sister-in-law Joann Christenson, other relatives, and friends. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald and her brother Chris.
