Joyce B. Barth

Joyce B Barth Joyce (Sinnen) Barth 98 passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2020. She was the daughter of Edward and Erma. Joyce was born in LaCrosse Wisconsin on July 6, 1921. She married John Barth on August 28, 1943 at St. Francis Borgia Church and lived in Sheboygan for several years before moving to Cedarburg. Her priority in life was her family. All the holidays and celebrations that brought everyone together was heartwarming to her. She graduated from LaCrosse with a degree in teaching and met her future husband John Barth. Joyce was a substitute teacher at St. Francis Borgia and other schools in the area for several years. She was an avid reader and would get books from the Cedarburg Library several times a month. Joyce always made sure she had books available so when she finished one, there was always another one close by. Joyce is survived by her children Steve (Beth) Barth, Jody (Ken) Williams, Sue (John) Gutmann, Walter Barth, and Mary Robertson. Grandchildren Kerry (Mike) Shields, Meghan (Ryan) Stowers, Nick (Leah) Williams, Emily (Doug) Witte, Marissa (Joe) Gnadt, Christina (Mike) Kaminski, Matt (Catie) Barth, Todd Barth, Bill Robertson, Kayla Robertson, Sam Desmond. Great Grandchildren Kegan (Lauren) Salmon, Riley Salmon, Kennan Stowers, Lydia Stowers, Pearl Williams, Ruby Williams, Isabelle Heilgendorf, Jonathan Heilgendorf, Jackson Gnadt, Ellianna Gnadt, Thomas Kaminski, and Caleb Olsen Wais. And soon to be great-great grandson, Baby Salmon. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Erma Sinnen, husband John Barth, son-in-law Bill Robertson, great granddaughter Marissa Ann Gnadt, in-laws Walter and Lula Barth, brother and sister- in -laws Harold and Thelma Barth and Palmer and Arlene Krueger, and other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian burial will held at St. Francis Borgia Church (North) 1375 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, WI on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will take place prior to the Mass from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Zur Ruhe Cemetery, Cedarburg. In lieu of flowers donations to either St. Francis Borgia or the Cedarburg Library would be appreciated.
