On May 29, 2022, John Vint Prindiville of Grafton, WI, devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 83. John was born on February 28, 1939 to Daniel and Florence (nee Vint) Prindiville of Kinsman, IL. He attended Saint Bede Academy and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in business administration. For 30 years, John was the owner and operator of Computer Associates, a small business specializing in recruiting and job placement services. On October 19, 1963, he married Mary Louise Quinn. For many years, they lived with their two children in Shorewood as members of St. Robert Parish and in Whitefish Bay as members of St. Monica Parish. They moved to Grafton in 2003. John had a passion for bicycling and loved to spend summer days roaming the trails of Ozaukee county. He was an avid reader and collected vintage books, leading to a part-time hobby as an online bookseller. He also had a keen interest in family genealogy and loved to spend time with family and friends. He was known for his youthful looks, infectious laugh, and generous and kind spirit. John is survived by his wife Mary, children Mark (Claudia) Prindiville and Carol (Stephen) Berry, brother Dale (Mary) Prindiville, and four grandchildren Julia (Randal) Eich, Monica and Daniel Prindiville, and Nate Berry, all of whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley (Gabe) Franco, and brother Richard (Marilyn) Prindiville. Visitation will be held at St. Joseph Parish in Grafton on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. A memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m. A private committal service will be held at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Janesville, WI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Saint Bede Academy of Peru, IL.
