John H. Jerschefske, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held Thursday February 19, 2009 at 12:00pm (Noon) at First Immanuel Lutheran Church (W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., Cedarburg) for John H. Jerschefske, Sr. who passed away on Sunday February 15, 2009 at the age of 88 years from Multiple Myeloma at Santa Maria Nursing Home in Green Bay, WI. Visitation will be held on Thursday at church from 11:00am until the time of Service. Interment Zur Ruhe Cemetery. John was born in Thiensville, WI on February 27, 1920, the son of John and Mary (nee Baehmann) Jerschefske. Throughout Johns life he had many various jobs. John was an avid hunter in Wisconsin, the Western States and Canada. Johns family sends their sincere appreciation to the staff and caregivers at Santa Maria Nursing Home in Green Bay and Dr. Bayer and the Oncology Department of Green Bay for there loving care of their dad. John is preceded in death by his wife Byrdie, daughter Sandra, son John, granddaughter Casey, brother Jeff and sister Irene. He lovingly survived by his children Sharyl Schultz, Shelley (Darrel) Kurtz, and Susan (Perry) West; grandchildren; Mark (Mary) Demler, Donna (Mike) Howarth, Bob (Maureen) Demler, Nicole (Matt) Stalter, Danielle Jerschefske, Kim Schultz, Robin Schultz, Michael (Alyssa) Schultz, Josh (Maureen) Kurtz and Jordan Jerschefske; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Harold (the late Hilda) Jerschefske and sisters, Lucille (Dick) Seeley and Honey (Ray) Wittkop and sister-in-law Betty Jerschefske, daughter-in-law Pat Jerschefske, other relatives and friends.
