John Gunn

John A. Gunn John A. Gunn of Cedarburg passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the age of 83 years. John was born on October 5, 1933 in Gilman, Wisconsin, the son of the late Andrew Gunn and the late Bernice (nee Fenno) Gunn. He served his country in the United States Army from September of 1954 until he was honorably discharged in August of 1956. John was united in marriage to Irene Kalinowski and their marriage was blessed with a daughter, Debra. John worked at Badger Meter for 42 years until his retirement in 1996. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and he had a passion for working with tools and small engines in his free time. John is survived by his loving daughter, Debra Gunn, grandchildren, Adam (Lynn), Aaron, and Jeremy Swoverland, great granddaughter Sophia Swoverland, siblings, Betty Hunter, Bonnie (Lynn) Ali, Elmer (Shirley) Gunn, Lenny (Debbie) Gunn, and Susan Gunn. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene, and his sisters, Donna and Patricia. Per John’s wishes, a private burial will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Milwaukee.
