John A. Enright Ii

John A. Enright -Grafton- age 83, was the dear husband to Ann Verret Enright for 36 years. He was father to: John, Mark (Lynne), Jen (Armando) Lopez, Jeff, April (Ron) Forchette, and Stephanie (Steve) Berti; and grandfather to Amy & Rob Enright, Antonio Lopez, Donovan & Madeline Hinz, and Lillian Berti. John was a brother to Barbara M. Hughes and the late Carol A. Brockel. John graduated from Marquette University High School, Marquette University, Northwestern University, and The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He served as a U.S. Army Ordnance Officer at Springfield Armory, Mass. He retired as a Professional Engineer from Johnson Controls after 35 years and later designed and sold Carrier Corp. equipment for Auer Steel. In retirement, he took an interest in lighthouses and Great Lakes marine history. He created the original museum at North Point Lighthouse in Milwaukee’s Lake Park. He volunteered at the Wisconsin Marine Historical Society at the Milwaukee Public Library. He was a member of a number of historical societies: Wisconsin Marine Historical Society, Port Washington, Ozaukee County Washington County, Irish Cultural and Heritage Center, and North Point Lighthouse Friends—where he held the title of Curator Emeritus. John co-authored the historical book, “The Enrights and Rileys Come to America”, 2015. A Catholic Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 11:00 AM at St. Francis Borgia North Catholic Church (1375 Covered Bridge Rd.), Cedarburg. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the church, prior to the Funeral Mass from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The House of Peace (Capuchin Community Services) or Marquette University High School are appreciated.
