Joanne R. Fugate

Joanne R. Fugate (nee Kuehl) of Grafton, died peacefully at Lawliss Family Hospice in Mequon, WI on August 11, 2015 at the age of 84. Joanne was born in Sheboygan, WI on May 18, 1931 the daughter of the late William and Hildegard (nee Heimbach) Kuehl. Joanne was united in marriage to the late James Fugate on May 31, 1952 in Sheboygan, WI. Joanne enjoyed reading and taking care of her plants in her home. Joanne was a charter member of Grace Lutheran Church where she ministered to those in need through cards, calls and prayers. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joanne is survived by her children: Christine (Fred) Timm, Vicki Fugate, Thomas (Jean) Fugate and Betty (Michael) Cibulka; grandchildren: Andrew (Jenna) Timm, Emily (Leopold) Shircel, Jacob Sigler, Caleb Sigler, Robert Fugate, Joseph Fugate, Adam Cibulka and Abigail Cibulka; great grandchildren: Arthur and Renee Timm; Remington Sigler; brother Richard (Janet) Kuehl. Joanne is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. A Memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton on Sunday, August 16, 2015 – 4:00 PM. Rev. Paul Bulgerin will be officiating the service. Family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church appreciated.
