Joanne Ellen Rosander (Palmerton),

Age 77, Joanne passed on November 6th, 2023 in Grafton, WI surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with lung cancer. Joanne was born on February 7th, 1946 in Deer Lodge, MT to Clarence Palmerton and Dorothy Palmerton (Whitlatch). Joanne had 7 brothers and sisters (Dan, Richard, Darrell, Kenneth, Sheri, Judy, and Randy). In 1967 Joanne moved to Oregon where she met her husband Clarence (Cisco). Joanne and Cisco were married on July 12, 1968 and had 55 wonderful years together. Joanne is survived by her husband Cisco, sisters Sherry and Judy, brothers Dan and Randy, three children Jeremy and his wife Katie (in Oregon), Rick and his wife Debbie (in Idaho), and Angela and her husband Andrew (in Grafton, WI), 9 grandchildren (Tya, Ayden, Logan, Ben, Emily, Daisy, Hezekiah, Asher, and Austin) and 1 great grandchild (Draegan) and one on the way.

Joanne was a loving and kind-natured person who enjoyed spending time with her family. Joanne also loved traveling, anything Elvis, shopping, and the beach. She was the person you went to when you needed advice or a shoulder to cry on. Joanne will be missed greatly by her family and loved ones. A service for Joanne will take place in March 2024 in Libby, MT. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be sent to the Alzheimer’s Society or the American Lung Association in Joanne’s name.
