Jennifer A. Kacvinsky, of Grafton, was born to eternal life October 1, 2014, at the age of 69. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 10-11am at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church North, 1375 Covered Bridge Rd, Cedarburg WI, with the funeral Mass following at 11am. Jennie was born April 23, 1945 to Stephen & Margaret Kacvinsky of Streator, IL. She graduated from Streator High School, and worked at Streator National Bank (later First Midwest Bank), beginning as a teller and achieving the position of Vice President. She continued her work with the bank through a move to Joliet, and retired (briefly) on moving to Wisconsin. She was soon back to work for M&I Bank, and retired from Metavante in 2007. Jennie was known to all as a kind, loving, and generous woman, who took great pleasure in time with her family, and in her volunteer work. She was very active in St. Francis Borgia Church, working in the gift shop, and with the Women’s Guild Funeral Ministry. She loved to bake, and delighted in finding new recipes for goodies to bring to church bake sales. Jennie is survived by her sister, Margaret Kacvinsky OSF; her brother Steve (Joan) Kacvinsky; her nieces Carlene (Carl) Schipfmann; Kathleen (Kevin) Stefanik; and Patricia (Erick) Peterson; nephew Thomas Kacvinsky; and great-nephews Kyle, Connor, and Caden Stefanik, and Justin and Ian Peterson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Michael Kacvinsky; and her loving companion Ernie Peschl. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Horizon Hospice, or to St. Francis Borgia Outreach Program.
