Jeanne L Greene

Greene, Jeanne L. (Nee Heinz) of Grafton, was born to eternal life on Nov. 7, 2015 at the age of 86. Jeanne was born in Green Bay, WI on Dec. 27, 1928, daughter of the late Edward Joseph Heinz and Edna Leona (Nee Hansford). Jeanne is survived by her second husband of 32 years, Bill Greene of Grafton; her children: Paul (Lin) Fonder, Mark Fonder and Joel (Susie) Fonder; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Jeanne’s first husband, Leslie Charles Fonder of Green Bay preceded her in death in 1979. Jeanne was a full time mother and later worked as a legal secretary. Her passion was playing cards, especially bridge, and was a member of the Grafton’s Newcomers Club for many years. She loved music and supported both church and school music through generous donations. She was an avid knitter and crafter. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 13th – 11:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:30 AM – 11:15 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be offered to the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center of the Mayo Clinic or the charity of your choice.
