Jean B. Weber nee Byers passed away peacefully at the Cedar Lake Home on March 9, 2007 at the age of 85 yrs. A memorial celebration was held on Monday, March 12, 2007 10 AM at Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon. Interment took place at Graceland Cemetery in Milwaukee. Memorials to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is appreciated. Mueller Funeral Home in Grafton assisted the family. Jean was born on May 26, 1921 in Marion, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Elmer and the late Louella nee DeVaud Byers. Her parents published a weekly newspaper there for many years. On May 12, 1945 she married the late Frederick C. Weber Jr. in Marion. In 1952, they purchased a farm in the town of Grafton where they lived until 1993 when they moved to Thiensville. Jean was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon. Jean is survived by her sons: David Kathleen Weber of Ames, Iowa and Bruce Terri Weber of Cedarburg, grandchildren: Eric Angela Weber of Ames, Iowa, Matthew, Charles and Michael Weber also of Ames, Iowa; Stephanie, Brett and Jenna Weber of Cedarburg, great-grandson, Jacob Weber of Ames, Iowa, and sister, Mary Gruenstern of Fond du Lac. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick C. Weber Jr., her daughter Beth Ellen Weber and her brother, Francis R. Byers of Marion.
