Jay M. Jankowski

A Celebration of Life for Jay M. Jankowski, will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, 6PM, at the Mueller Funeral Home, in Grafton. The family will receive friends, on Tuesday, from 4-6PM. Memorials of your choice are appreciated. Jay was born on March 9, 1943, in Milwaukee, the son of the late Eugene Jankowski and the late Jean (nee Schmidt) Jankowski. Jay along with his brother John Jankowski, went into business together to form B & J Painting, in Grafton. Jay was the owner and operator of this company for over 40 years. Jay was a true outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, boating and spending numerous hours working in his yard. He had a zest for life and enjoyed dancing as well as having an all around good time. Jay passed away at the Lawlis Family Hospice, in Mequon, on February 20, 2015, at the age of 71 years. He will be missed by many but will never be forgotten. Jay is survived by his daughters, Jodi (JR French) Jankowski and Jamie (Chris Meucci) Jankowski, grandchildren: Tyler, Karyn, Kendyl, Molly, Sixx, Jaxxon, Emily, and Isaac; and sister, Judy (Robert) Hayes. He is further survived by other relatives and friends. Jay was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Karen Jankowski, and brother, John Jankowski.
