In Loving Memory of Jared William Buss
Born on August 20, 1988, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Jared touched the lives of many before his untimely departure from this world on February 25, 2025 at the age of 36. His presence was as illuminating as the sun breaking through the clouds. His creativity and joy resonated deeply with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Jared's journey through life was defined by his faith, his passion for creativity, and his extraordinary talent in remodeling projects. Jared used Buss Design Build to express his artistry, exemplifying a unique blend of vision and craftsmanship that made each project a testament to his spirit. Whether he was painting, working in the garden, or cooking in the kitchen, Jared found beauty and purpose in the details of everyday life.
Educated at First Immanuel Lutheran Grade School, Cedarburg High School, and Northern Michigan University, where he excelled in football, Jared carried with him the resilience and camaraderie instilled through his educational and athletic experiences. His larger-than-life personality would effortlessly absorb the entire room, drawing others into his orbit with an infectious warmth that invited silliness, laughter, and fun. He marched to the beat of his own drum, revealing a big heart that truly cared for those around him, loving fiercely and completely.
Jared’s spirit resonated in the things he cherished most, from duck hunting in the crisp morning air, to reveling in music, dance, and the serenity of nature. He discovered peace in his hobbies, each moment spent in the outdoors or engaged in creative pursuits became a part of his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his parents, William and Jody (nee Frank) Buss, as well as his siblings: Shannon Charlie Buss and Heidi (Tyler) Salentine. The light and love of his life, his daughter Rosie Perl Buss, will continue to carry his creative spirit forward, reminding all of us who love him of his indomitable essence. Girlfriend Brynne Simpson and former wife Hillary Buss, also carry memories that will live forever in their hearts.
Jared is further survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a multitude of friends drawn to his magnetic presence and generous spirit. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Arnold (Alberta) Buss and Glenn (Eunice) Frank, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms.
In the rich tapestry of life, Jared leaves an indelible mark, a reminder to live boldly, love deeply, and embrace every moment. Though he has passed unexpectedly to be with his Heavenly Father, the legacy of his creativity, laughter, and love will forever echo in the hearts of all who knew him.
A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jared's memory may be donated to First Immanuel Lutheran School Guardian Angel's Program or Movember - Changing the Face of Men's Mental Health: https://us.movember.com
